Meet our Sika Ambassadors

Eric Kritzer

Eric Kritzer

My name is Eric Kritzer and I’m a chemical engineer from Stevens Institute of Technology. I’m primarily interested in production, process safety management, and manufacturing. I am participating in “My Summer with Sika“ with Matt Bowman by touring job sites and Sika plants across the United States in order to interview customers and document product usage. Through this opportunity I hope to learn about Construction and Industry products, as well as hear our partner’s feedback firsthand. Matt and I are recording interviews, taking pictures, and constructing blog posts that can be used to better understand the needs of Construction and Industry players.

Matt Bowman

Matt Bowman

Hello All! My name is Matt Bowman. I am from Gillette, New Jersey and have not driven for longer than 4 hours in a car during one sitting. However, that is all changing because I am traveling thousands of miles within two months, visiting tons of different Sika job sites and meeting hundreds of new people along the way. I graduated from the University of Scranton in 2015 with a degree in Marketing. I am soaking in as much as possible on the trip, whether it is about Sika products, sales, or the operations side of the company. Throughout the trip my co-worker Eric and I are capturing our journey through pictures, videos, and blogs. Stay tuned…

  • Summer vacation time is coming to an end. As you are traveling back home, you'd be surprised how many #SikaSarnafil roofs you pass by on a daily bases.
Pictured here is the Cyril E. King Airport in St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands which is just one of many airports covered by the leading thermoplastic roof membrane! #Sikaeveryday #successwithsika #safetravels #roofinglife #constructionworld
  • What a stunning sight on a Monday morning! Not only is the light grey #SikaSarnafil Decor roof protecting US veterans from the Nevada elements but it is also helping cut down energy cost by 50 percent (compared to the previous standing seam metal roof) #SikaEveryDay #Successwithsika #sustainabilitymatters #sustainableroofs

  • The National Museum of the Marine Corps carries on their mission: to commemorate the past, present, and future of the Corps.
James Myers Company was called upon to install a new #SikaSarnafil roof on the building expansion that would house new exhibits focusing on Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm such as the Genesis II, a fully restored M60A1 battle tank, a F/A-18 Hornet jet, expanded educational facilities, and a one of a kind theater. #roofinglife #constructionworld #successwithsika #sikaeverday

  • The @theloftsatrivereast roof in Chicago, has many different elements on it, including a party deck, elevator penetrations, lots of new duct work, HVAC equipment and a vegetated green roof. “Anything you can think of that can be on a roof is on this roof,” said August Mitchell, vice president of construction for Ghafari Associates of Chicago, the construction manager of this project. #SikaSarnafil #GreenRoof #sikaeveryday #successwithsika #ChicagoRoofing #ChicagoGreenRoof #sustainableroofs
  • How strong is Sika Post Fix? This chain has been embedded in one bag of Post Fix to secure a bike rack. This innovative product was the prefect replacement for a bag of concrete - no water or messy mixing needed and it sets much faster. #sikaeveryday #concrete #sucesswithsika
  • Sika admixtures are playing a key role in repairing the Oroville Dam Spillway back to its original design capacity. In February 2017, engineers noticed concrete erosion on the flood control spillway at the Oroville Dam. Rising water levels beyond the dam’s height required use of the emergency spillway for the first time in the dam’s history. What concrete wasn’t washed away on the lower part of the main part of the spillway is being removed to allow for construction of a replacement. #Concrete #OrovilleDam #Oroville #SuccesswithSika #SikaEveryDay #Construction
